Learn how to troubleshoot high water levels: fill with 3 gallons, and use the drain feature if needed.

Updated over a week ago

When using Hey abby Grow Box, it's important to maintain the proper water level for optimal plant growth. If you encounter a high water level in the reservoir, follow these troubleshooting tips:

High Water Level Prompt:

To maintain the proper water level in your Hey abby Grow Box, fill the reservoir with 3 gallons of water. Hey abby's nutrient (included in hey abby subscription box) solution is designed to be used with 3 gallons of water, so overwatering may result in low nutrient concentration for your plants.

Excessive Water: If you find that there is too much water in the reservoir, you can utilize the drain feature available on the settings page. By draining out some of the excess water, you can bring the water level back to the appropriate range.

The 3-gallon mark can be identified by the second water sensor in the reservoir. Please refer to the image below for visual examples of 3 gallons of water (Note: The water level indicator is not available with the 2022 model. For the 2022 model, please refer to the second water sensor in the reservoir).

By following these troubleshooting tips for high water levels, you can ensure that your plants receive the right nutrient concentration for your plants in the Hey abby Grow Box system.
