What is Hey abby Grow Box?
Hey abby is the #1 and possibly the only mass-produced automated hydro growing system for cannabis.
When did the product launch?
The project launched in 2020 and first went to market in 2022 via Kickstarter. In April 2022, Hey abby went into mass production and is ongoing.
Where is the company located?
The HQ and design center are in Costa Mesa, CA.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to the continental USA and Germany.
How does it work?
What plants can you grow with Hey abby?
Most of our growers are growing cannabis, but you can also grow tomatoes, peppers, and herbs.
What is the yield?
420 Edition: Up to 6 oz dry flowers, and we estimate first-timers can yield 4-5 oz.
420 Pro Edition: Up to 6 oz dry flowers, and we estimate first-timers can yield 4-5 oz.
OG Edition: Up to 8 oz dry flowers, and most first-timers can yield 4-6 oz. (discontinued now)
How many plants can you grow?
You can grow one plant in our grow box, which is ideal for personal use given its very high yield.
Do I need experience to grow?
No. 80% of our growers are first-timers, and the Hey abby app will guide you through the whole process.
How long does it take for the harvest?
It takes 3-4 months accordingly.
What is the success rate?
So far, it is about 85% and increasing.
Do you sell seeds and clones?
No, we only sell the grow box and supplies. You can obtain seeds and clones from the our exclusive seed partner: Seed Supreme who is the largest US online seed retailer, which have been proven reliable by thousands of Hey abby growers.
Can I start with seeds, and what type does Hey abby support?
Yes. Both seeds and clones and both photo and auto can be grown in Hey abby.

Is it legal to grow in my state?
Please check local laws.
Does Hey abby consume a lot of energy?
Not at all. It consumes about 1KHW per day. In most states, your monthly electricity bill will be under $5.
Can I grow without the subscription?
Yes, in general, but you need to do your own homework for the weed growing supplies.
Is it loud?
No, it runs about 40 dB, but it is better not to put Hey abby in the bedroom.
Do I need sunglasses to prevent eye strain?
No, the light will dim to the lowest level when you open the door to check the plants.
Is there any smell leak?
Hey abby comes with a custom-made carbon filter that uses two layers of activated carbon to remove most odors from the air. However, certain smells are a natural part of gardening and cannot be completely eliminated.
Will there be pests?
Hey abby provides a separate growing space for your plant, effectively isolating them from any potential pests. However, it is important to keep your grow box clean and free from pests.
